Later in 1925, the organisation is separated into two, and the Lynemouth and Ellington Brass Band is set up. They adopt the rules of the original orchestra, with only one addition – No Intoxicating Drinks allowed in Band Room and Betting Strictly Prohibited

Meeting

             Held Sunday Aug 9th to consider the best interests of the band Mr Warlow tendered his resignation and was accepted. After discussion it was moved by Mr Grindall sec. by W Corbitt that R McKenzie become conductor of the Brass Band, and it was agreed that George Young become conductor of String Band. Mr Tindall deputy for Brass Band and T Ledgerwood Deputy of String Band and owing to the resignation of Mr Warlow it was agreed that Robt Tait become secretary. All books & bills & money were handed over and found correct and duly signed by Mr White & Ledgerwood. This ended the meeting.
