Visit from Hawkes Instruments

A visit from a Hawkes Instruments representative opens the possibility of new instruments for the players, and a second-hand set would be loaned for six months, at a cost of £10.

Meeting Held Nov 23 

Mr McPhearson in the chair who introduced Mr Howard, agent from Hawkes & Sons who put forward the reliability of Hawkes Instruments, and promised to help us in any way possible, in the event of going in for a set, they would loan us a second-hand set for £10 for 6 months, all payments to go towards a new set. The agent was asked if he would send an instrument on approval which he said he would, when requested to do so, also he would furnish us with any printing matter free of charge if required.
